Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between acculturation and depression in the Hmong community. The sample consisted of 32 Hmong individuals geographically located in Sacramento. All respondents volunteered to participate in this study. A quantitative design was used. Results indicated that there was a significant relationship between age and acculturation and depression. However, the result also showed that there was no relationship between gender and acculturation and depression.
