Abstract:
Drawing on a survey that Hein and his colleagues administered with 179 individuals, supplemented with 28 indepth interviews, four focused-group interviews, and a content analysis of newspapers written about two groups of immigrants, the book is an ambitious comparative study of the situations of Cambodian and Hmong refugees in four different American cities in the United States.
