Abstract:
Reports on a case of lead poisoning of a 15-month-old California child and this three-year-old sibling after being treated in Mexico with multiple doses of azarcon (lead tetroxide) for chronic diarrhea that had been unsuccessfully treated ampicillin. Death of the three-year-old after having seizures; Lead toxicity detected in a number of Hmong children; Presence of lead in a Hmong folk remedy for treating infants and children with fevers.
