Abstract:
The article discusses a collection held by the organization Minnesota Historical Society consisting of store records and textiles from the consignment shop Hmong Handwork, operated by Corrine Pearson in St. Paul, Minnesota from 1981 to 1999. It is said that the store featured paj ntaub cloth, a traditional Hmong style of clothing, that was made by Hmong people living in the U.S. and in Southeast Asia.
