Abstract:
The growing circulation of videos - both commercial videos and homemade family videos - among Hmong immigrants in the United States serves not only as entertainment, but "as remembrance of homeland, as historical documentation, and as ethnic self-representation, both locally and in a global dialogue with other Hmong diaspora communities.
