Abstract:
The article focuses on the existence of Hmong beliefs of home deaths among some people in Minnesota. Accordingly, the said belief does not allow people to die in their homes for fears that bad luck could come to a family when a member will die inside. Barbara Greene, a consultant with Hospice Minnesota, says that Hmong clients who have traditional beliefs sometimes let their loved one to spend their last few days in a nursing to prevent such curse.
