Abstract:
Bays discusses her project in interactive photography among Hmong children living in the US. An exhibit of their photographs called First Works: Young Hmong American Perspectives, which hung in a half a dozen public and private art venues, was one of the outcomes. The collaboration created a dialogue that centered on photos, family, culture, community, sex and resistance.
